I prefer paperback because it's not heavy. And sometimes I can imagine myself lying in bed while holding the hardback and then it fell on my face. Ouch! How would it hurt...

I now enjoy both. I used to only enjoy the hardback but now I enjoy both.

I prefer paperback for the save they allow me to do in comparison to hardcover.

I would definitely say paperback for two reasons. One, hard backs are too expensive. Two, they are too bulky. If a book is only in hardback, I will wait for the paperback or read it online.

I don't mind much, but if it's hardcover the paper on the outside has to be off.

Hardcovers, because I don't get as anxious about damaging them :lol2:

Hardcover is more durable and looks more valuable, but I usually buy the paperback because they are cheaper and lighter. The few cases at which I have bought hardcovers were when I could no longer wait for the paperback to be released.

I enjoy paperback since they are easier to transport and read on the go. They are also usually cheaper which is always nice! I do like the durability of hardcover though, since it is easy to bend a paperback by accident.

Generally, I prefer paperback, but there are books, like classics or evergreens, which I prefer to have on my bookshelves as a hardcover.

Hardcover books last longer, so that's what I prefer.

Hardcover all the way!!!

They are far more durable and stronger. They last longer on my shelf and kind of gives this professional feel when I'm reading.

I agree. I prefer paperbacks too because they tend to be much lighter.
